Description
Pianist and composer, Michael Harrison, points out something on a note filled white board during his presentation to his fellow OM 14 composers, during their retreat at the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, prior to the start of the 14th Other Minds Festival in March of 2009. Harrison is a well known pianist with a long standing interest in different tuning systems who has designed his own “harmonic piano,” on which he can easily alternate between two different tunings using the same conventional keyboard.
