Description
Pianist Edmund Correia performs two piano works, “Autumn” and “Third Pentagram”, by Dane Rudhyar. Rudhyar was both a composer of contemporary classical music as well as a pioneer of modern transpersonal astrology. His music influenced such composers as Henry Cowell, James Tenney, and Peter Garland. In addition to composing music Rudhyar was also a novelist, and author or numerous books on astrology, which he saw less as a predictive science than as a mechanism to promote intuitive insights. These recordings by Correia were made on May 28, 1981.
