Description
A three-quarter length portrait of George Avakian and Anahid Ajemian, facing forward, sitting on their couch at home in Riverdale, Bronx, New York. George Avakian was a famed record producer and writer, and his wife, violinist Anahid Ajemian was a groundbreaking musician, championing works of contemporary composers starting in the 1940's. Ajemian died in June, 2016 and Avakian a year later in November, 2017.
