The second concert of the 1990 Composer-to-Composer Festival on July 14, 1990, with Hugh Davies, Roger Reynolds, James Tenney, Wadada Leo Smith and Laurie Anderson. Anderson’s performance appears to have contained video parts which were not documented.

Charles Amirkhanian makes announcements and a "hat" is passed around to those who wish to support the Telluride Composers Defense Fund. Hugh Davies says a few words to get the environment back to neutral, then presents his work "Strata" for quadraphonic concert Aeolian Harp and four-track tape. Following Davies is Roger Reynold's tape work "Versions/Stages I-IV". James Tenney's "Chromatic Canon" for tape and piano is performed by Gloria Cheng. Wadada Leo Smith premieres his "Trankespacke" for for trumpet, bamboo flutes, strings, percussion and voice, all played by Smith. The concert concludes with Laurie Anderson's multimedia work "a short talk on music, language and pictures".
