Description
A portrait of Robin Rimbaud (a.k.a. Scanner), taken during his participation in the 6th Other Minds Music Festival in March of 2000. Dubbed a "telephone terrorist," Rimbaud is a techno-data agitator whose scavenging of the electronic communications, utilizing cell phone and police scanners and other devices, provides the raw materials for his aural collages of electronic music and "found" conversations. Musician, writer, media critic, a minimalist anti-hero, Rimbaud has collaborated with bands, choreographers, filmmakers, and other artists, to produce cutting edge artworks in a wide variety of media.
