Keeril Makan is an American composer who often combines American folk music, and classical Indian music, with avant-garde and minimalist elements. Makan has a Ph.D in composition from U. C. Berkeley, is a former Fulbright scholar, and currently teaches at MIT.

Renate Hoffleit is a visual artist and partner of OM 13 composer, Michael Bach, with whom she frequently collaborates on projects.
