Description

LaMonte Young with Terry Riley (OM 2) outside Hertz Hall in Berkeley, CA, 1996. The concerts held at Hertz Hall on November 24th, 1996, were part of the 3rd Other Minds Festival. Young's piece "Chronos Kristalla (Time Crystals) from The Magic Chord x 4 " was performed that evening by the Kronos Quartet and the performance was dedicated to Indian master vocalist Pandit Pran Nath, who was a teacher and major influence for both Young and Riley.
