A flyer promoting a three night special workshop of improvisation and Tai Chi, with Keith Johnstone (director of the Loose Moose Theatre Company), and Al Chung-Liang Huang (founder of Living Tao Foundation). "Liberating the Comic Spirit" was a three day workshop for performers of all kinds, especially actors, directors, comedians, and dancers. The workshop included theatre sports, improvisation, t’ai chi movement and centering, theatre games and limbering with a focus on the meeting point between spontaneity and discipline and on discovering techniques which stress cooperation rather than competition.Held at the Margaret Jenkins Dance Studio in San Francisco and sponsored jointly by the California College of Performing Arts and the Living Tao Foundation.
