The first of three programs relating the extraordinary career of George Antheil, hosted by Charles Amirkhanian. This program covers Antheil's career up to 1927, and includes interviews with Antheil's wife, and composers Nicolas Slonimsky and Virgil Thomson. Memories of Antheil by Ezra Pound and James Joyce are also read and a number of Antheil’s works are also heard.
