Description
A recording of Darius Milhaud’s “Le Quatre Eléments,” a solo cantata for soprano and orchestra originally composed in 1938. The piece is performed by Carole Bogard and the Oakland Youth Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Robert Hughes. This appears to be either the United States. premiere of the work by the Bogard and the Youth Orchestra presented on December 13, 1964, or is a rehearsal for that performance.
