Included in this concert is Jon Gibson’s “Extensions” a work for solo saxophone and tape which was originally composed as part of dance score for the Lucinda Childs. Followed by a work for voice and tape by Joan La Barbara, that takes as its inspiration a painting by Paul Klee. Also heard is a selection of art rock songs by Jill Kroesen, and three jazz works performed by Ronald Shannon Jackson and the Decoding Society, among others.
