Description
A live recording of a musical reception held at 1750 Arch St. to welcome Dutch radio producer Han Reiziger (1934-2006) to KPFA. Reiziger was the long standing musical director at VPRO, a Dutch radio station that was known worldwide for its adventurous and avant-garde musical programming. In an exchange program with the Pacifica Radio network that saw KPFA’s Charles Amirkhanian spend several months in Holland, Reiziger came to Berkeley California for a four month stint in 1974-75, where he produced numerous programs on Dutch musical life.Genres
