Footage to accompany the performance of Robert Moran’s “Jewel Encrusted Butterfly Wing Explosions” by the Oakland Symphony’s Youth Chamber Orchestra. The two segments here include what appears to be members of the Youth Chamber Orchestra playing their instruments in various public places in San Francisco and Oakland, from the beach, to the Legion of Honor, in trees, in the middle of streets and on staircases, as well as in front of the Oakland Public Museum.This silent unedited footage was shot by Rick Paup and Jack Agins on 16mm black and white film.
