Description
The first concert of the 1991 Composer-to-Composer festival on July 11th took a last minute turn in programming; The opening concert was to feature PianoDuo performing several works, but one of the musicians suffered a hand injury so the actual program is not what is reflected in the festival's program guide. The PianoDuo concert was rescheduled for that Sunday (July 14th), to replace the video screenings.

The concert begins with the Relâche Ensemble performing "Amazed with Grace" by Thomas Albert followed by an improvisation for solo saxophone by Fred Ho (?) and another piece with Ho and members of Relâche.

Tom Zé performs two works, and the audience is given an interpretation of the lyrics for both, before the last piece "Tatuarambá". Zakir Hussain then takes the stage for a solo tabla performance and after some remarks and tuning, plays as a trio with guitarist Paul Dresher and bassist Douglas Rapp.
