Description
The final concert in the 1991 Composer-to-Composer Festival on July 14, 1991. PianoDuo were scheduled to perform on the first concert of the festival but due to a hand injury the duo's performance was postponed to the very last night where video screenings were originally slated.

Charles Amirkhanian starts by announcing the Elder Statesman award, which was presented to Alan Hovhaness. Hovhaness also comments on his studies of ancient music and a book he hoped to publish around that time. John Lifton then presents the award for Voice of the World, which was given to Tom Zé.

The concert program includes:
Diderik Wagenaar: Stadium (1981)
Igor Stravinsky: Ebony Concerto (1945) [Allegro moderato, Andante, Moderato; Con moto]
Steve Martland: Drill (1987)
Cees van Zeeland: Initials (1989)
Pierre Boulez: Structures II (1961)

The concert concludes with a request by Charles Amirkhanian, and the duo play Colin McPhee's "Tabuh-Tabuhan".
