Description
From a concert most likely recorded in the late 1960s, the program features works by Leland Smith, Christopher Lantz, and Richard Felciano. First heard is “Three Pacifist Songs” a song cycle by Leland Smith and performed here by soprano Helene Farras Joseph. These are followed by two works for instrumental ensemble and electronic tape. The first is “Heilengen Stadt Testament” by Christopher Lantz, who had studied with Leland Smith at Stanford University, and the second is Richard Felciano’s “Crasis”.
