Description
Avant-garde cellist Charlotte Moorman and pianist David Tudor play a number of pieces by La Monte Young, Morton Feldman, Ornette Coleman, Earle Brown, Philip Corner, & John Cage. The Corner piece consists largely of detailed performance notes that are followed exactly, much to the amusement of the audience. While Moorman and Tudor might be best known for their collaborations with Nam June Paik and John Cage, respectively, they are both very talented musicians in their own right and their partnership during this program is suitably impressive.
