Description
Arthur Frick, a 20 year old artist whose American parents taught at the University of Beirut, Lebanon, campaigned to be elected Dictator of America in 1972. His platform stressed the need for artists to be involved in high governmental positions, so that they may bring creative solutions to the problems which beset politicians in the White House. Frick also holds strong views on the role of sex and sexuality in political and artistic life, as well as the role of the nose in this political campaign. To address the conflict in the Middle East, Frick envisions sending Disney robots to the Suez Canal, as well as creating a fiend park in every U.S. city. Here he talks with Charles Amirkhanian about his campaign.
