Description
Charles Amirkhanian stands in front of the new KPFA building at 1929 Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Berkeley, on March 7, 1992. The building, which was built specifically to house both the offices and studios of the Pacifica radio station, opened in October of 1991 and represented a significant upgrade from the earlier site at 2207 Shattuck Avenue.
