Description
Opal Nations (left) producing one of his music shows at KPFA, on March 7, 1002, as a number of radio station staffers assist or look on. Born in Brighton, England in the 1960s, Opal joined KPFA in 1981 and for 10 years produced an R & B/Gospel music show called Doo-Wop Delights. Opal also hosted Rockin at Midnight and Harmonia Mundi, a show featuring music from around the world. Opal Nations has also worked as a author and sound-poet, and has helped in the reissuing of numerous Gospel music recordings for a variety of record labels.
