Description
Tara Bouman standing behind a table with two trumpets laid out on it, playing the bass clarinet, with the figures of several other OM 12 participants standing behind her, silhouetted against the windows at the Djerassi Resident Artists Program. Dutch clarinetist Bouman studied with Piet Honingh and was a student of Suzanne Stephens. As a soloist and chamber musician she has performed in many international venues. She started her career playing mainly contemporary music , which then took her to the field of improvisation. Tara Bouman founded with Markus Stockhausen the duo Moving Sounds, which performed during the third concert of OM 12.
