Description
Taken during the 1st Other Minds Music Festival, a picture of a piano in a spotlight, upon the stage in front of an audience. On the right half of the image can be seen three people, also in a spotlight, with the figure on the right apparently standing and receiving applause from the crowd. The piano has been modified with a control device by Trimpin, enabling it to perform the Piano Studies of Conlon Nancarrow, which he originally scored for player piano. It is highly likely that this is a photograph of Nancarrow being recognized by the audience following the performance of his compositions.
