Anthony Gnazzo, born in 1936 in Connecticut, received his education at Hartt College of Music and at Brandeis University. In addition to being a composer, Gnazzo is also well known as a designer and builder of electronic music studios, having been associated with the University of Toronto, Simon Fraser University, Mills College, U. C. Berkeley, and other schools. A composer of numerous works of electronic music, text-sound compositions, Gnazzo delighted KPFA listeners with a series of hilarious programs throughout the 1970s and 80s.
