Description

This is a portrait of “St. Lou” (Lou Harrison). The mixed media work was created by Larry Schulte and donated to Other Minds. The framed work is made up a solvent transfer print, acrylic paint, gold leaf, oil stick and glass beads. The paper work measures 30" x 22”. The portraits of St. Lou and St. Bill (Lou's partner), were on display during the 22nd Other Minds Festival at the Mission Dolores Basilica in San Francisco. This image was taken during Concert 1: Pacific Rim Centennials on February 18, 2017. OM 22 was a centennial tribute to American composer Lou Harrison.
