The composer lineup for the first Other Minds Festival (OM 1): (l to r) Meredith Monk, Conlon Nancarrow, Philip Glass, Other Minds' Artistic Director Charles Amirkhanian, Jai Uttal, Julia Wolfe, Trimpin, Foday Musa Suso, Barbara Monk Feldman, Thomas Buckner, Robert Ashley, and Jon Jang.

The group was on stage at the Center for the Arts at Yerba Buena Gardens (now Yerba Buena Center for the Arts/YBCA) likely right before the first concert on November 5th, 1993.
