Jürg Frey (far right), is seen bending down and displaying a musical score on the floor, which his fellow OM 15 composers group around to examine during their retreat at the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, prior to the start of the 15th Other Minds Music Festival in March of 2010.Jürg Frey was born in Switzerland in 1953 and began his musical career as a clarinetist, before quickly turning his skills towards composition. His works are often marked by simplicity and softness, and sometimes seem to bypass traditional structure and verge upon sound art and ambient installations. Frey is also a member of the Wandelweiser Komponisten Ensemble and a tireless promoter of concerts of contemporary classical music
