Source recording for Impact: Innovative Music From the Pacific Coast.Recorded on August 30, 1987 at the Variety Arts Center in Los Angeles as part of a live concert program for radio broadcast. This is the second part of performances by the Repercussion Unit. Jim McKee joins the modified version of the group for the first piece, an expanding percussive soundscape with prerecorded tape. Later, a cassette recording is played at high volume and accompanied by some live percussion.
