Description
Charles Amirkhanian interviews Bay Area singer, writer, actor, director, and movement artist Rinde Eckert. Eckert is perhaps best known for his Opera / New Music Theater collaborations with Paul Dresher including their American Trilogy (Slow Fire, Power Failure, & Pioneer). However Eckert has also worked with the Martha Jenkins Dance Company, and has had works commissioned by the American Repertory Theater, the New York Shakespeare Festival, and numerous other organizations. In addition he has also released a CD of his own songs. In this interview he discusses, his favorite singers and his upcoming performance with his new band The Complete Strangers.
