Description
The Pacifica Chamber Players was a San Francisco Bay Area chamber ensemble led by clarinetist Tom Rose, that often presented concerts especially for broadcast on Berkeley’s KPFA. This recording of Vincent D’Indy’s “Trio in B Flat Major,” for piano, clarinet and cello was included in the Player’s premiere broadcast on November 25, 1970. It featured Rose on clarinet, joined by Teressa Adams, cello, and Steven Cosgrove, on piano. The Trio itself is in four movements: Overture, Modere; Divertissement, Vif et anime; Chant Elegiaque, Lent; and Finale, Anime.Genres
