Description
Evelyn Becker describes how her husband, composer John J. Becker, came to name a number of his works “soundpieces”. Mrs. Becker also comments on how her husband became friends with Charles Ives, and how Ives sent the Beckers copies of all his scores. These manuscripts were eventually donated to the New York Public Library.
