Description
A couple of ambient field recordings made by Charles Amirkhanian on the morning of August 12, 1970, in Seattle, Washington. The first recording was made from 7:10 AM to 7:35 AM with the stereo microphones placed about 3 feet apart, and captures the sounds of distant traffic mixed with birdsongs, the cries of seagulls, and a passing train. The second recording, made from 7:43 AM to about 8:00 AM has the stereo microphones placed about 7 feet apart, and captures a very similar mix of ambient sounds.
