Description
An ambient field capturing the night sounds in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, in April 1971. This recording was made by Pauline Oliveros by placing a microphone outside a 2nd floor apartment window. The subdued sounds of passing cars and trucks can be heard along with the occasional voice and footsteps, some of which may be originating from inside the room rather than from the street below.
