Description
A discussion with Paul Cotton, a young conceptual artist whose uninvited entry to the Art and Technology Show at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art resulted in a tremendous turmoil which was subsequently reported in great detail by the Los Angeles Free Press. Cotton is perhaps best known for dressing himself in a bunny costume with his genitals sticking out, and other acts of provocative public nudity. In this recording made in 1971, he is interviewed by Tom Marioni, director of the Museum of Conceptual Art, and Charles Amirkhanian of KPFA. Also participating in the discussion is Eugenia Butler, formerly proprietor of the most adventurous gallery for new art in Southern CaliforniaGenres
