Description
Dancer, choreographer, and intermedia artist, Anna Halprin leads the KPFA audience in a participatory event, recorded live on Thursday evening, November 20, 1969. Listeners were encouraged to rearrange their furniture at home in time to music played over the air and then to visualize a fantasy which occurred to them in the process. These fantasies were called into the station towards the conclusion of the program. The show’s producer and host was Charles Amirkhanian. Anna Halprin directed the event. The program begins with a short summary of Halprin's recent activity at the time in leading a bi-racial workshop and performance of her, "Ceremony of Us". This show is from a series of audience participation radio programs in which artists were given air time to create situations that physically involved the listening audience.

[Note: There are some extended areas of intentional silence in the program, the first at 13:30-21:11, the second at 23:15-28:05]
