Description
“Sand” is an electronic music work, composed by Jan Pusina in 1970. Pusina began his career as a composer while studying physics and music at the University of California in Berkeley, where he received a Master of Music degree in 1969. He has specialized in electronic and live electro-acoustic music, as well as performing on the horn as a co-principle of the Kensington Symphony Orchestra and the principle horn with the New Millennium Strings, and other San Francisco Bay Area chamber ensembles. In addition to his compositional and performing duties, Pusina has also worked as an accelerator operator at the Advanced Light Source at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory.
