Description
Two works of electronic synthesizer music by San Francisco based composer Marc Ream. Mr. Ream received his Ph. D. in music composition from the University of California in Santa Barbara and has been a frequent collaborator in numerous ensembles, dance projects, and musical theater productions since the early 1980s. He has won numerous awards for his works and has had his music performed around the world including in Japan, Belgium, Germany, and Poland. This program includes two works originally composed as accompaniment for dance pieces and are entitled, “Rivers of Mary” for synthesizer and drum machine, and “Jump Start” for percussion, birdcalls, whistles, and drum machine.
