In 1966 it was awarded the first prize by the National School Orchestra Association in a composition contest sponsored by the Roth Company, makers of string instruments. It is published by the Ludwig Music Publishing Co. of Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland All City High School Symphony Orchestra performs with Robert Rimer, conducting.This recording is part of a 5 tape set featuring other works by Ovanin which include Poem, Elegy, Dusk, and Suite (Pleiades).
