Description
The lecture begins with a reading of “Mureau”, which is based on a text by Henry David Thoreau. The program concludes with a lengthy question and answer session that followed Cage’s appearance at the Cabrillo Music Festival in August 1977. It is often in addressing the public’s questions that Cage’s brilliance is most memorable, and this example is no exception.
