Description
A concert by the San Francisco Conservatory New Music Ensemble, recorded May 12, 1972, at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco, and conducted by the Ensemble’s retiring director Howard Hersh. This concert features new and avant-garde music by Robert Ashley, Gyorgy Ligeti, Douglas Leedy, William Maraldo, Morton Feldman, and Ivan Tcherepnin, as well as a madrigal by Carlo Gesualdo and orchestrated by Robert Moran.
