Description
Recorded on October 20, 1988 as part of the San Francisco Exploratorium’s Speaking of Music series, Charles Amirkhanian interviews Leo Ornstein over the phone, while Martha Anne Verbit and Marvin Tartak play a number of his compositions for the piano. Charles is also joined by Ornstein's son Severo as well as Andrew Imbrie. Also heard are a couple of video clips including an interview between Ornstein and Vivian Perlis.
