Description
Charles Amirkhanian talks with the Los Angeles, CA. based, conceptual artist, John White, about his “Performance Time and Space,” an event scheduled to occur the next day at Lone Mountain College in San Francisco. The event, organized by White and fellow artist Aviva Rahmani was to involve audience participation and the entire football team of St. Ignacious High School. White describes his expectations for the event which was to feature the football team revealing the processes it underwent in preparation for a game as well as involving the audience through a series of questions and directed motion exercises. While the role of football in society was to be implied by the event, is was not considered to be the prime focus.
