Description
A series of collaborative text-sound pieces by Charles Amirkhanian and Anthony Gnazzo, performed by the composers. After 12 minutes of faux introductions, the proceedings migrate to actual stimulating performances which are often humorous and always very interesting and enjoyable. Amirkhanian and Gnazzo collaborated on a number of such shows at KPFA, many of which can also be found in the OM Archives, and are highly recommended to anybody interested in the history of avant-garde sound poetry or simply in search of ideas on how to get the most out of their sound editing software. The fact that these works were created before such technology was widely available makes them all the more impressive. This program has sensitive language. We hope you are a sensitive listener.
