Description
A field recording of a rain drain, made at 2 in the morning on November 3, 1970 by Karlheinz Martens. Along with the sounds of what appears to be rain going down some sort of drain, culvert, or gutter is the sound of occasional musical accompaniment by some unidentified solo instrument. If you close your eyes you may be able to imagine yourself in some forlorn alleyway in a European city, standing in the rain, and listening to a street musician making halfhearted appeals to the occasional passer byes.
