Steve Wolfe interviews Harold Lawrence who at the time, was President and Executive Director of the Oakland Symphony. Lawrence was also a known producer for Mercury Records from 1956-1967. The two discuss the Eastman-Rochester Orchestra recordings while Lawrence was at Mercury Records, and the American composer and conductor Howard Hanson, who was Director of the Eastman School of Music.
