Two ambient field recordings made on Sunday August 16, 1970. First is the sounds of the ocean surf at Fort Cronkhite in the Marin Headlands just North of the Golden Gate. This is then followed by the sounds of passing crowds and cars, and the occasional ring of a cable car bell, recorded at the corner of Powell and Geary in downtown San Francisco.
