Description
Clarinetist Alan Balter performs a series of folk songs and dances for clarinet and piano by Bartók, as well as Rossini’s “Introduction, Themes and Variations” for clarinet and piano, with pianist Jeff Kahane. Balter and Kahane are then joined by violinist Virginia Baker and cellist Michael Grebanier in a performance of the “Quartet for the End of Time” by Olivier Messiaen.
