Description
Paul Matzner was the curator of the California Library of Natural Sounds at the Oakland Museum in 1986. His soundscapes and sound installations highlighted the museum’s “Walk Across California” exhibit, which provided an exciting acoustic journey from the coast to the desert. In this edition of the World Ear project, take a hike with Paul, as he brings you the sounds of California while also describing the various tricks and techniques he has developed in order to create these pristine field recordings from across the state of California.
