Description
The inaugural Other Minds Festival (OM 1) was held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, in November 1993. Concerts and panel discussions were held over four days, from November 4th through 6th. Prior to the festival the artists convened at the Djerassi Resident Artists Program in Woodside. The OM 1 composer lineup included Robert Ashley, Thomas Buckner, Philip Glass, Jon Jang, Barbara Monk Feldman, Meredith Monk, Foday Musa Suso, Conlon Nancarrow, Trimpin, Jai Uttal, and Julia Wolfe.Amirkhanian, Charles (has as artistic director)
