Description
The 6th Other Minds Festival was held over three days; March 16-18, 2000 at Theater Artaud and the Justice League in San Francisco. Lectures and panel discussions were also held in the city at George Coates Performance Works. Featured composers and performers included Hamza El Din, Annie Gosfield, Leroy Jenkins, David Lang, Paul Miller (DJ Spooky), Hyo-shin Na, Robin Rimbaud (scanner), Jacob ter Veldhuis, Christian Wolff, Aki Takahashi, Fred Frith, Joan Jeanrenaud, The Onyx Quartet and Ji Young Yi.Prior to the festival, the composers spent four days in a communal retreat at the Djerassi Resident Artists Program in Woodside.
