John Cage & Friends was a film marathon that was presented by Other Minds at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco, CA on September 22, 2012. The event ran from 2pm-12midnight, and featured rare films on the artist John Cage, including performances by Cage and his friends; artists and performers such as Merce Cunningham, Robert Rauschenberg, and David Tudor. Other artists featured in the program's films include Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Frank Stella, Laurie Anderson, Nam June Paik, Oskar Fischinger, Experiments in Art & Technology (E.A.T.), and Fluxus.
